The Cedar Tree.

I bought this TV series the other week.

The series was written by Alfred Shaughnessy, the man who wrote Upstairs, Downstairs.

It was broadcast between 1976 and 1979 and yet I can't remember seeing it or even hearing about it.

But I love these sorts of series.  Where the sets always look slightly dodgy and you wonder if the faithful old retainer will forget their lines any minute.
