Quaking Grass ( Briza maxima )
Heading back north. The run thankfully was trouble free, apart from the miles of speed limit reductions. Why? oh Why? Do they cone off a lane for literally miles before you reach the point at which they are working. If the A66 gets the go ahead for dualling, and I can't see the road coping if they don't, we will I suspect have years of miles and miles of speed reductions.
We stopped for a break at Mainsgill as is our preference. When we came out we found a car parked in front of us, just as we expected. What we didn't expect was the one parked behind us! We were just ready to go into the building and ask for an announcement when a man appeared striding purposefully towards us. As he neared he said "If I pull forward you should be able to get out". He was the driver of the campervan beside us. It turned out his son who was in the camper had rung him up and told him to come and rescue us.
