Long journey

But nothing compared to past escapes!

Travelling to Noirmoutier. Autoroutes surprisingly quiet on a holiday weekend. This aire was almost deserted at lunchtime.

Very boring journey until I reached the island.
Then TomTom let me down. Was taken through the submersible road and crowded with pèche a pied tourists. And was supposed to call house owner from bridge.
All worked out fine except trying to collect trike found it very hihg and heavy àd for some reason braked by back pedalling! Very difficult and against all my instincts. Only experience was on Holland many years ago.
Took it to cottage but by next day had decided to return it
So upset as has changed the whole stay here.

Cottage is lovely and fell asleep before going to bed
