Seeing double...

A rather depressing end to the afternoon for me as a Southend United supporter, as it was the play off final at Wembley today to return to the Football League and Southend lost, so another season in the national league lies ahead for us.  Considering what our club has been through over the past few years it has been remarkable for us to do so well ...  here's to happier times next season!

Lovely day of weather again so more  garden pottering has been undertaken and I've managed to get a few more plants out of the greenhouse into the garden.  And I had more supervisors of the cat variety this morning - the one under the potting table is the normal visitor who likes to sleep in the shed, and the other one is a new visitor from the neighbourhood who normally runs away when they are spotted! wonder how long it will be until they are finding somewhere comfy to snooze in the garden!
