Rescued Rhododendron
The rhododendron in the blip is grown from a cutting my mother took from a huge but doomed bush next to a derelict house, some 40 years ago. By now it’s grown huge, too.
Today started early for me, as it was carers’ changeover in my mother’s house. When I arrived at the main bus station at 8 a.m., E‘s bus was already there, and she was waiting for me. I am glad that she is back, but she has been ill with bronchitis for the last couple of weeks, and (despite reassuring me that she’s fine now), her constant coughing seems worrying.
T, the 78-years-old lady who can’t speak much German, is on her way home now. Today she told E (who translated for us) that she would love to come back in two months. To be honest, I very much hope that the agency can find someone else.
