friends for how long?!

A bit less than forty years, I think. Amazing how we have kept it going - we met in Spain. We knew each other there for a couple of years, then I went back and she stayed. Letters, WhatsApp, car journeys, flights.. we always managed to see each other at least a couple of times a year. And here we are, J in the UK to see her mum in care home, taking a day out to visit me. We talked, laughed, walked all day. It was fun.
