I enjoyed my brief stay in the Novotel at Düsseldorf Airport. 

My dinner in the restaurant last night was delicious. So was my breakfast this morning. I slept really well. It has a very easy public bus connection with the terminal. All their staff were excellent, especially the young woman who explained the buses to me this morning. She has a lovely smile to go with it. 

I liked their coffee mugs too. Just the right size. No, I did not help myself. I just Blipped them. 

My Extra is the departures hall at the airport. Bright and spacious. Such a contrast to overcrowded and thoroughly grungy Edinburgh Airport. 

EDI was at its worst this afternoon. We waited over an hour for our bags. Our plane had left to return to Düsseldorf well before the bags were delivered, so obviously Swissport's finest had unloaded them and then abandoned them somewhere for a while. .
