Poppies at Cromer

A busy day started with a walk first thing at Cromer. It was lovely to see the poppies out in various places, and some ceramic poppies outside the church. When home, I had to get ready for a burglar alarm service tomorrow, which means they have to have easy access a cupboard and all the windows. So I usually wash my voiles the day of the alarm service, but there's a possibility of rain tomorrow, so I did it today. I also cleaned the frames and windows inside and put a coat of paint on the window sills. Once dried, which took no time at all on a warm and windy day, I ironed them and put them back in place once the paint on the sills was dry. All whilst keeping an eye on three good tennis matches at the French Open. Unsurprisingly, I'm a bit tired now!
