Fortieth

Forty years ago on this day we wed and we managed to hang on through thick and thin. We never thought that by now we'd have three amazing children, that they would have found such brilliant partners, and that there would be three grandchildren with another on the way. We are so proud of them all.

After breakfast we went to Dart Valley Country Park's Picnic at the Park. There was live music, arena displays, games, stalls and much more, including a rare appearance of the Lancaster Bomber aircraft and an accompanying Spitfire; a real treat, see extra.

We spent most of the day there then headed back to our holiday accommodation for a takeaway supper, after which we opened cards and gifts. 

We feel incredibly grateful and very lucky for all that we have.
