Poppy

Firstly many thanks for all the congrats and favs for yesterday. If I manage another year I'm thinking about working something more exciting, like lion taming maybe, into the blip somehow.

Today's blip is more down-to-earth and deception free. We haven't got much colour in the garden at the moment, apart from lots of pink roses. So I was pleased to see this solitary poppy turn up. I didn't notice it yesterday. I think there maybe another one about to bust out too. Well it is June.

I'm not sure what we have done today, apart from searching for a possible last minute holiday destination. We have a few days with friends in Southampton in a couple of weeks and mrsfb wondered if we could tag something on to that. Nothing appealing found so far.

I have watched a bit cricket too. Somerset strolled to a second T20 win. That's three wins in a row now. They often start the season well, but then end up without any trophies at the end. They are very good at coming 2nd.

I also watched the end of the England West Indies match, a good recovery from England I think.
