Friends

Birthday party - L turns 68 today - with our friends. We served them ‘croques monsieurs’ with some salade, tasted the non alcoholic whiskey (*)(awful!) but quickly changed for the real stuff (Bushmills).

This group photo is taken by Yaniv, son of Margot. 
The extra is us three, the surviving Bushmills friends. It was confronting realizing we missed already so many friends. And welcoming all these widows. So we raised our glases and toasted to our absent friends; the two Hermans, Luc and Dirk.

(*) I bought two bottles, hoping to make an alternative Bushmills gathering especially to include Herman, fighting cancer and alcoholism. Sadly he past away before we got together. But we agreed, he would be mad if we presented hem these disgusting drinks ;)
