Pride celebrations

I am happy these celebrations are still taking place given the current environment.

I went to the one in my hometown and it featured concerts, kid book readings by drag queens, and lots of information booths. One of these was info about an LGBTQ+ crisis phone line (now that the federal such line has been eliminated). I chatted with the women who take the calls and they all said the volume of calls for help has gone up in the past few months. And we are talking here about an area of the US and a State (Maryland) which are quite liberal… Demoralizing…

For a laugh (although a bitter one), apparently Dear Leader went on his social media outlet and announced to the (his?) world that Biden had actually died in 2020 and it was some form of robot that led the country in the past four years… Not sure about you, but I’ll take a robot like that any day over the current nutcase in that office ;)
