Happy First of June

Three Trees

I think I blip them every year, they are always there so I think they are evergreen. The fields are looking lush now even though we have had a very dry period, but I don't know what sort of a crop they will yield.

Did a bit of gardening this afternoon, more work on the wall that disappeared under the ivy and Rose of Sharon. Then it started to rain so we had to come in, it didn't last too long but we stayed in.

A funny thing happened while I was pulling up the ivy and  then just digging over the soil with the trowel, the cat suddenly appeared right in front of me, dug a hole in the soft soil sat and had a wee, then covered it up and toddled off without even a thank you. I couldn't stop laughing.
