Something Blue

I'm desperately trying to catch up with missed Blips from last week's trip to Anglesey.

George and I got up quite early to make the most of the promised dry weather and also to get a parking space on the narrow lane by this disused brick works. We've been before but I wanted to take different kinds of images this time. 

We were fortunate both with the weather and the parking space and also had the place to ourselves for nearly an hour, which was great. We then moved on to Cemaes where George had a handmade chocolate ice cream and we did a walk along the beach. 

As we were taking the road west, towards Holyhead, I spotted a brown sign for a nature reserve that we've never been to before. It started to rain, which spoiled it a bit because it was also extremely windy but we braved the unfavourable conditions and had a good walk around. The wardens on site were very knowledgeable and gave me tips on where to find the little owl nearby.
