Vote

At church this morning we had to have a congregational vote to approve the next phase in the appointment process for a new minister (in addition to our current one).

We had to verify that only those eligible to vote received a voting paper and that the vote was conducted in secret. So lots of bureaucracy but it lead to a unanimous vote in favour.

Our friends departed south this evening though their early evening plane was over an hour late taking off. So a long day for them as they have a 2 hour drive at the other end!8
