Wing flutter

Today was a sunny cool day, it did not feel like the beginning of June. I went out for a morning walk. I had many red wing black birds coming for food. But I wonder why the female will some times flutter her wings. It almost seems like some mating ritual.I captured this moment when she was in a tree. I also think she was trying to get my attention to get some peanuts
