Santa Cruz Pride’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

It was a great parade! Marching bands, cheerleaders, bubbles and rainbows and hugs and glowing faces. Community organizations, dancers, roller blades, costumed dogs, fierce energy and love and joy. Hundreds of people lined the street to support the marchers and cheer the performers. And yesterday over a thousand people gathered on Main Beach to form a rainbow-colored human banner that spelled out RESIST (No Going Back). It was a fine celebration.
