A place with so many memories...

A really wonderful Sunday... Slept in. Took a nice walk trying to find a treat for my mom - they were out of the ones I normally get so she got a marionberry danish today. And then headed over to see her. She was in fine spirits today. We talked nearly the whole time I was there. A lot about nothing, trying to get her to understand she couldn't go see her dad, feeding her breakfast, showing Tiger pictures and... I noticed some of the fear was back but she was much more alert today - such a fine balance on the medications.. 

After that, I headed over to a local Italian restaurant to meet my sisters family to celebrate the closing on the house and that my mom's care will be taken care of for several years at least. This place the family has gone for a bit of good, bad, just dinner and.. for nearly 50 years.. We talked about the old neighborhood and how it has changed so much. where I rode my bike down for 3 cent candy, the forests we walked through, the... It was a very grand way to end a very relaxing weekend.
