Early Bumblebee

An early trip out into the garden for me this morning as I had washed the mattress cover for the single bed.  The light was stunning, which encouraged me to go and get my camera and take some close up images in the garden.  This pretty little bee is, as it says, one of our earliest bumblebees to appear in the garden.  It disappears after July.  I must look up somewhere more info about its life cycle.
