Impressive….!!!

Yesterday myself and my friend spent the morning at Dublins Bloom in The Park Garden & Food Festival….and this guy was certainly one of the most impressive ‘gardens’ we saw…it was potato plants growing in his out-stretched hand which was the garden bit laid out in front of him…
We saw beautiful garden ideas…the creativity …the use of space…the recycling and upcycling of everything is just fabulous…
We saw balcony gardens ..raised beds…small spaces and bigger spaces..
I’m a number of years going to Bloom and gardening is really changing…
And as for the Lego Garden…(obviously not real)!! although in the distance….:)) but an incredible splash of happy colours….and the chap behind the whole thing was sitting there with his thousands of tiny Lego pieces building away….people and children were fascinated..!


And as for the foodie end of things it’s brilliant….so many small (and some bigger) artisan Irish food producers it’s a business moving in the right
direction…
We left ‘stuffed’ with many samples of all that’s on offer..!!

Came home wrecked but how nice it was to do something so entertaining and pleasant after my week of ‘torture’…!!

It’s a fantastic 5 day family festival growing more popular every year…
Becomes way too crowded as the afternoon approaches so the trick was to go early in the morning!!

Start of another month…time is flying…!
