Panther Pipe Cleaner Playtime

It seems to be becoming a trend, Blipping Minstrel playing on the rug!

When the extension socket bar blew up on Saturday, we had to move the front room cupboard and desk to get to where it was plugged in to the mains. These old houses don't have many sockets, and the rooms are so small that some are bound to end up behind furniture. Anyhow, in the process of that, many of Minstrel's toys that he'd "stored" under the furniture were excavated. He was pleased to be reunited with the pipe cleaner and has played lots with it and some of the other rediscovered items.

This evening I'm going to a public meeting about trying to get the Titanic Bridge reopened. Apparently it was closed, about 8 months ago now, because it's unsafe for cars. And it's likely that the shadowy, hard to contact owners can't afford to repair it. Or don't want to spend money on it that could go into owners and shareholders' pockets...

But that's no good reason to close it for walkers and cyclists. It leads to the Water Rail Way public footpath along the river bank, as well as Tesco and other businesses, all much harder to access without this bridge.
