Painted Wings

There weren't a whole lot of critters out today other than some bumble and carpenter bees. I took a couple of shots of the bees and then noticed this skipper chilling out on this spent flower stalk.

I like the fact that the flower stalk looks like a paintbrush and like the glowing wings on the skipper (from the sun - no post editing other than a crop...).
