Double Lens Reflex With A Hint Of Mint
Today's image was just a complete experiment. I'd seen the sun filtering through our kitchen window and it was highlighting the pop of green from the label of a tiny bottle of peppermint extract through a stray plastic freezer bag giving it a kind of woozy effect - blip certainly seems to have heightened my sight based reflexes to a world of photographic possibilities! :-) I still felt it needed some more colour which is when I came across an old pair of graduated sunglasses. I wanted more detail and a bit of 'artistic' blur in my image so I swapped over the telephoto lens on my SLR camera for a 35mm one set on a wide open aperture and shot it through one of the lenses of the sunglasses. I quite like the outcome but I'm yet to be entirely convinced of its merits - even so, God loves a trier right! :-)
