The hedge and ditch at the end of our garden have been cleared, hopefully to help with drainage. Some stubborn brambles and small hawthorns remained so I volunteered to clamber over and cut them back. We now have a nice unobstructed view of the fields beyond our boundary and I have multiple scratches on my arms, not a good look to start my holiday with friends tomorrow. G will be left holding the fort.
