I am back home. I had a lovely sleep on the train and was just coming to when there was a knock on the door of my room..I opened it and a train crew member said “Sorry but we have been delayed and will be arriving in Edinburgh just after 8.” I said “You mean Glasgow” and she said “No, the train has been diverted to Edinburgh “.

Well, it didn’t really matter to me - I went for a coffee, made my way to the bus station and claimed the full fare back on Delay Repay…Sarah and Chris came to take me home and Chris had made some lovely carrot and coriander soup for lunch.

All the rain while I had been away had turned the garden green and the grass quite long, so after we had taken the dogs down to the river, I did some mowing. It’s all change with the visitors tomorrow…
