In the Lakes

Arrived here today, just outside Windermere in the Lake District.
Unfortunately, my wife isn’t joining us because, although our spaniel Joe is fine, he had a bit of a turn a couple of months ago, and we didn’t want anyone to have the responsibility of looking after him while we were away.
By the way Joe was dead chuffed with all the kind wishes he got on his fifteenth birthday.
There are seven guys and their wives/partners staying here, guys who all went to school or university together. Previously we met up in France, Spain and Italy.
The weather forecast isn’t too good but hopefully we will have a good time whatever.
The accommodation is brilliant and look out for some blips of lakes in the rain!
