Working with the community

While walking past this carpark in Tillicoultry I spotted a lot of activity.  What was going on?
It was a community project run by Creative Veterans, former service members, and they were painting murals on the carpark wall.
They also involved their local MP, Brian Leishman, a former golf professional (centre photo with paintbrush).
“We decided to make our MP work,” joked Mark of Creative Veterans.
"We wanted to brighten up the environment by adding some murals to this space.
  If the local community is involved in the work, it is less likely to be vandalized.”
 
Creative Veterans, or Military Veterans Creative Arts, is a UK-based organisation that uses arts, music, and writing to help veterans heal from traumatic war experiences.
