Juvenile
I think one of the (many) highlights of spring is the arrival of baby birds. This is a juvenile Eastern Bluebird, identified by the spots and hint of blue. It was the only one I spotted on my outing this afternoon, so I was happy that it paused for a photo.
I have been very sporadic in posting on blip. Due to family obligations, which include grandchildren and a 97 year old mother-in-law, I am finding it difficult to use my camera on a regular basis. But I still like to stop by when I can, and I always enjoy seeing your wonderful photos and stories.
