The Poppies Have Popped

Over the years, Lisa has tried to get rid of these poppies that found their way under the fence that separates our driveway from the neighbor's yard. But, she has failed to defeat them. To me, they are another good sign of Spring.

When we had dinner and cards at Al and Shelley's house last Friday, I mentioned that my printer was on the fritz. Al graciously volunteered to look at it, and they came over this morning.

It took him 2 hours, but it is now running and printing again. WOO-HOO! The boy is tenacious when he puts his mind to something, and I certainly thank him for his doggedness.
