Black Fantail

A big job ticked off the list today - Gerty van got a wash and spruce up :D  I know when I return from Twizel she'll be very dirty again but at this time of the year it's good to deal to the developing winter griminess.  Feeling quite pleased with my efforts though there are parts of her that I just can't reach......might have to be brave and get the big ladder out.

I also decided a lawn mow would go down well and it was as I was moving a few things around in preparation that this wee thing joined me.  Sooooooo friendly and unafraid......flitted several times around my head and even looked at one point like she was considering hopping on to my outstretched hand.   She took a particular liking for the garden furniture which she's sitting on in this pic.  Feeling very blessed to have her come visit me :D
