Boundary stone

There are a number of these stones driving into Gosport on the A32. I quickly parked up to take this shot. They look like milestones but the line follows the boundary of some MoD land. My research reveals they do denote the demarcation line of Admiralty/MoD property. There are loads of them all over Gosport which is understandable bearing in mind the town's Naval history.
