…on the self-seeded nigella (also called love-in-a-mist) in our back garden.

I had a busy day, with work, errands, a gym session, grocery shopping, and very urgent paperwork. I have missed a deadline for my mother‘s tax papers, and hope that she‘ll still get a tax return. If not, this was a very costly mistake.

One of my jobs today was to donate sorted-out clothes, shoes and other things to a charity that runs a big second-hand-store near my gym. People who rely on welfare can buy things they need for just a few Euros there - everyone else can shop there, too, but they have to pay more.

As I got there, I had to queue at their drop-off place. Car after car full of boxes and bags arrived, mostly with used clothes, but also with all kinds of household goods, mostly looking brand new. One guy donated a huge electric outdoor grill. I wonder which welfare recipient has a garden to use it.
