In Clover
Despite the wind the damsels and bees were out but low level as the gusts were quite strong round the lake at Ripple this afternoon.
Millie went swimming. I was valiantly trying by throwing a stick in the water to get her cleaned up as she had gone through a ditch and come out totally covered in black mud. The last time I threw it a bit too far as when her back legs couldn't feel the bottom panic set in and I had visions of going to wade in and pull her out. Camera on the floor as a precaution, a bit of encouragement did the job thankfully and she proudly touted her stick away down the field.
