Winkies

Today didn't quite go as planned. We'd had a short walk from Windermere scheduled in before taking B to the train station. Just before we set off B got an email saying that two legs of her train journey had been cancelled due to damage to power lines overnight. After much discusion and googling, we decided to go to the train station and speak to an Avanti rep who gave us a good plan which meant B leaving on the next Manchester train. She got home with no problems after that.

It meant I got home a couple of hours earlier than expected so had a chance to do my washing and make tea.  I did mean that I didn't have a lake district blip for the day, but luckily the wood winkies were being cute on the garage roof.
