The Mimic

This a hoverfly mimicking a wasp. Identification is not so easy as I found at least two that look exactly the same. I believe it is either a chrysotoxum verralli or chrysotoxum cautum. Any experts that could help?? I'd love to know. 

There were a few around and it was quite big for a hoverfly. A lovely find, whatever it is.
