Magenta spires

The foxgloves are looking glorious where Bertie and I walked this morning. It had been an area of coniferous plantation that was felled over ten years ago and was replanted with mixed deciduous saplings last year so it will be quite a few years before they grow enough to reduce the light.
It was another blustery day with frequent heavy showers. Fortunately, Bertie and I experienced only one of these and it didn’t last very long.
It was a busy morning dealing with lots of odd jobs, then off to Salen for a meeting that lasted most of the afternoon.
