Andy's Has Been Painted

Rain first thing, then cloudy, some sunshine, back to rain and then a lovely sunny evening.  A cold gale blowing all day. 

Up early with the alarm, back to work today.  I've been working with Andrea all day, we've been on litter bins in Lerwick and Scalloway.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  Popped down to mam's this evening.  Mam and dad are back from their Golden Wedding holiday, a trip to Canada and Alaska.  We nipped along Laura's too.  Another short bedtime walkies with Sammy, now feet up.

I headed out for a walk with mam and Jonny while I was down, and the usual always trying to spot any chances that may have happened while I was away, usually there's nothing.  This time there was, this old house has had a whitewash.  Looking very fresh with the lick of paint.  It'll take a bit to get used to, as all my life it's been a dull grey.  I've always called it Andy's, as old Andy Adamson stayed here when I was a bairn, along with his dog, Pup.  Always good to see an old croft house being loved by new owners.  Looking to Andy's, Aith, Cunningsburgh.
