Bee Orchid

This is the third year the solitary bee orchid has appeared in the lawn.

Another ‘mad’ day. Due to a new law we now have rising bollards at the main entrance. They have to be lowered and then raised again for every vehicle. Couple that with the toilets at the entrance out of action due to renovation and you have pandemonium.

I did manage to get away and now have two very expensive but good front tyres! The wind was fierce when I got home, and I have taken photos of all the flowers that look like they could succumb to it overnight. No doubt I will use those photos when I haven’t taken any!
