Mums favourite

Mum always loved red roses and this one comes up every year in our compost heap. No idea how it got there as we haven’t had roses in the garden for over 40 years.
Hubby had a problem with his phone as it wouldn’t work on mobile data so he contacted the service provider and after 40 minutes was told to go into one of their shops, what a waste of time. We really need it working for trip to France next week and have so many appointments we decided to pack up and come home today instead of tomorrow so that we can go into the city and get it sorted.
Home and charged up an old phone, stuck the sim and it works. So now got a free day.
Driving was awful, wet then sunny, traffic came to standstill for a while after a couple of cars hit each other in road works, no injuries just a lot of debris and two damaged cars to get round. Got home just after 5:30 and went straight out for walk with Hetty, warm and dry.
