A hot and sunny day, the workment arrived sometime around 9.45 to cntinue withy my roof terrace sun room. I left them to it, to go to Nick and Jackie's villa so the three of us could go together to view a villa for sale in the nearby street as e both have friends who might be interested. However, whilst it was lovely from the outside the inside - not so much, so a no go sadly, 

Back home briefly and then Rufus and I went to Sahara restaurant to join the ladies with the Tuesday table top second hand sale for CoDA where I spent a couple of hours talking about ID tags for the council shelter dogs that are being sponsored.  By 13.00 hnger had set in so back home for lunch and an ensuing hot but quiet afternoon. Doubly so as the nosiy work seems to have ben finished, at least for now, and the only man on the roof was the painter. Rufus was very happy, as was I. 

Around 6pm Rufus and I walked round to NIck and Jackie's place again (this is about a 3 minute walk!) and then the three of us walked to the sea front together. It's their last night here after 6 weeks , so we had a drink at TAS bar (today's photo) in the setting sunlight before walking on to Olivia restaurant which I've never been to before. There we met, as planned, Janice and John, who also leave tomorrow,  and the five of us had an enjoyable evening and leisurely meal together. 

Miss them already. Looking forward to August/September when they will be back in Akbuk.
