Clydebank Baths

So, so many images today, but had to go with the old Clydebank Baths (with a bit of tinkering).

Visit to Clydebank Town Hall, Museum & Gallery for a meeting with lovely West Dunbartonshire Council team. The Town Hall has undergone a fairly recent, and beautifully done, renovation and, as well as fab exhibitions on the shipbuilding and Singer sewing machine factory history, is currently hosting a huge Jolomo retrospective. A 5 minute walk from the train station, this is a great place to visit.

I do, however, feel rather privileged when I get to see the bits others might not - the potentials, the basements & attics and the 'currently under construction' parts. We had a wee look at the old Clydebank baths, next to the Town Hall, which survived the Blitz when much of Clydebank was destroyed. Reminded of the Dovecot in Edinburgh & the Govanhill baths....the possibilities...
