My Life Is Not Average

Childhood Dreams

Joanna, Lucy and I were realising our childhood dreams today by holding a fundraising sale. We used to do it all the time when we were kids, except it was only members of each of our families who would buy stuff from each other, but it was still fun.

Joanna's will be volunteering in a nutrition clinic in South Sudan for a year, so she needs to raise some money for her time there. We have loads of things to sell but unfortunately not a huge number of people came today! We're open again tomorrow so maybe we'll have some more custom then.

This evening I met up with some of the other leaders from Creative Arts camp: Toby, Lewis, and David (and his girlfriend). It was lovely to see them and chat about Fringe shows, camp, physics, and Christianity, amongst other things.
