This building was completed in 1973. Because similar buildings were being demolished it was heritage listed in 2016, in part because it forms part of a streetscape as shown in my main. As is typical of brutalist architecture, it utilises precast concrete technology for structural and cladding elements. 

My first extra shows vegetation's struggle to soften a brutalist structure. My second extra shows the cantilevered projection on the eastern façade which is cast in off-form concrete ie it's more textured. In the end it's still concrete but I wish I'd gone inside it.
