Lucky

Hospital appointment this morning. The bus I take only runs every half hour. Thought I had loads of time spare but as I approached the stop I saw the bus going through the traffic lights. Sprinted as fast as my stumpy little legs can go and the driver saw me and waited.
And then on the way home, an almost exact repeat - another sprint and just made it. Top marks to both bus drivers’ peripheral vision.

And then I managed to dodge the showers and take the dog over the hills.
