In the Kitchen

The Cook of the House was preparing some teacakes. She was in her "happy place" as she beat the eggs ready to add some flour.  Today she didn't even mind that the kitchen was too small to even swing one of the cats which habitually enjoyed the warmth from the tiny black range on the far wall.  It was probably a good job that she hadn't noticed the kitten about to steal the sausages for the Master's dinner!

Another in my occasional images from the 1/12th Doll's House. You can just make out the range which I built from a white metal kit. I also dressed the cook model,  but the rest of the kitchen and food stuff  has been collected over the years from various model shops and fairs.
