LEWISIA COTYLEDON "MARIANNE" (SUNSET GLOW)

A bit of a lazy day today I'm afraid, not really intended it just sort of happened.

Hubby needed to go to Brooke Supplies in Flookburgh so I went with him and we had a really scrummy lunch.  One of today's specials was Sea Bass with pan fried new pototaoes and pan fried tiny cubes of chroizo with asparaus.  It was totally delicious and just the right portion size for lunch.  We then had a wlk around the garden centre and we came away with 2 pots of lupin (just leaves now, but the flowers to come soon) and some osteospermum.

Whilst walkin around this pretty plant caught my eye - I had no idea what it was but Google lens tells me it is a Lewisia Cotyledon.  Very striking.
We also got some more bird seed and are now home for the afternoon.

The weather is actually better than forecast and although quite blowy the sun is shining inbetween the clouds so a good day really.

That's it from me for today, do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
