Rose

With Phil on holiday, it was just Henri and I on a very blustery and, eventually, rainy golf course this morning. The scores were high but we enjoyed ourselves.

This afternoon saw our usual Tuesday after school routine with Sophie. Before bedtime, our ritual is that she reads us a bit of her current reading book (The Worst Witch To The Rescue by Jill Murphy, at present) then I read her a chapter from the book we are “sharing” ( Roald Dahl’s Matilda). Not sure who enjoys it most!
