Weatherbeaten

There was more rain last night and today.  It's terrific.  It can keep raining.  But not on Saturday afternoon between 4:30 & 6pm - that's donkey duty time.

Today was the day of inconsiderately planned meetings.  11 until quarter past 1 - no such thing as a break at midday... And then because the people in charge are so nice they postponed our 1pm meeting until quarter past.

It would have been great if the meetings were important, about things we actually do.  But they weren't.  My microphone is always switched off for these meetings which allows me to swear as much as needed.

Work is not a happy place at the moment except when we, our group of 3 technical experts, work together.  Then it's a lot of fun.

And it was my friend S's birthday - he was asked if he was doing nothing (he likes doing that) and he was doing precisely diddly squat.  He was very happy.  Happy Birthday.
