Chaos at the castle

The village is having a new water main. The down side is that there are slow three way traffic lights through the centre of the village. As well as local traffic, it’s the main route from Mid Wales to Stoke and Cheshire so is often busy..

There have been long queues of traffic. Yesterday I was in the queue which was very long. A driver had parked their car half on the pavement and half on the road which meant that a lorry couldn’t get through so it was at a standstill until the lights changed.

The roadworks are going to be there for three months, so plenty of chaos to come and slow travel for me with no handy diversion to avoid it.
