'Edinburgh's Ugliest Building?'
Argyle House in Edinburgh is a real head-turner, but it’s not exactly everyone’s cup of tea. It’s one of the city’s most prominent Brutalist buildings, and many reckon it’s among the ugliest.
Built in 1968, this concrete and steel monstrosity stands tall and proud, dominating the surroundings. It’s all about raw materials, no fancy decorations here. The front of the building is plain and functional, with uniform window patterns and structural grids adding to the utilitarian vibe.
